Does 'Carbamazepine' cause it's patients to get nervous/jumpy around loud noises?

I take this medication for epilepsy, & when I go places where there's several kids, or out for coffee, I wear earplugs cause of the slamming dishes, crackling gles/cups, screaming babies & kids, & any other loud noises.-does the coffee make me more sensitive to noise?-it seems I'm more jumpy
