Is it ok to mix motor oil?

while changing my old '91 Honda Accord motor oil, I noticed that I had only 3 qts of 5w-30 and mistakenly bought a qt of 5w-20. I decided to use it anyways figuring it wouldn't mess up the engine (too much). Am I (semi) right?
